This Wednesday’s CSN Meeting ~ SOGIE 101: Building an Understanding of Diversity of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity & Expression ~ Sept. 5, 2018

Our September 5th meeting title is SOGIE 101: Building an Understanding of Diversity of Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity & Expression.

Our presenter will be Kale LaMont Perry, a trainer and speaker specializing in fostering gender understanding. Kale is a biological parent, a step-parent, an adoptive parent, and a foster parent.  Kale says he’s passionate about making a positive difference for LGBTQIA+ kids and all kids in the foster care system.

We’ll learn how an understanding of SOGIE can help us better serve clients and patients, and be more inclusive and respectful in our lives overall.

We will omit some usual agenda items (Building the Network Moment/Collaboration Mixer and Network Announcements) to give us more time with Kale. As usual, you may bring flyers and announcements to put on the back table at the meeting, and send items for the Tuesday morning e-news to csnncorg@gmail.com.

Facilitator: Kristen McGrew, CSN-CAPC Board Member
