After a strong candidate recruitment, Nevada County Executive Officer, Alison Lehman, has appointed Ryan Gruver as Health and Human Services Agency Director, effective July 22.
Ryan Gruver has over 13 years of experience in Nevada County Government, starting in 2006 as a Child Support Caseworker to, most recently, serving as Health and Human Services Agency’s (HHSA) Chief Fiscal/Administrative Officer helping to manage the Agency’s $115 million annual budget and over 300 staff. Additionally, Ryan has been a part of a team leading the County’s efforts to address homelessness and affordable housing.
Ryan’s experience with the County includes being a part the team that transformed Nevada County’s Child Support Department into one of the top-performing local child support agencies in the State and working on the integration of the Child Support Department into the Health and Human Services Agency.
