South Yuba River Citizens League Youth Scholarship
The Environmentalist of the Year Scholarship is offered each year to a graduating high school senior pursuing a degree in an environmental field (science, advocacy, education, art, communication, technology, sustainability, etc.). We have offered this $4,000 scholarship ($1,000/year for four years) annually to local students since 2002.

-Help with youth programs and summer activities
-Sign kids up for the Summer Reading Challenge
-Help serve lunches during the Summer Learning Program
-Gain skills for your resume and/or college applications
-Earn a free SafeServ certificate
-Get paid $16.37/hr., minimum 4 hours/week
-Flexible M-F hours, June 17 to Aug. 9
-Mandatory orientation, June 11.
All applicants must be aged 14-18 and enrolled in high school for the 24-25 school year with a valid work permit.
