Virtual Training: Youth Mental Health First Aid

What’s Up Wellness is offering two virtual Youth Mental Health First Aid trainings consisting of 4.5 virtual hours with 2 hours of pre-course home work.

This 6.5 hour online training is designed for those who want a basic understanding of unique risk factors and warning signs of teen mental health, how to provide initial support and resources to teens in need, the importance of early intervention and how to help a teen who is in crisis or experiencing a mental health challenge.

This virtual training involves a 2.5 hour at-home study portion to be completed prior to a four hour, live Zoom training. Pre-training study must be completed to attend this virtual portion of the training.

Once registered, you will be sent links to access the 2.5 hour home training course and how to join us online on the day of the training. We will send you this information once it becomes available.

YMHFA certification lasts 3 years. Training manual provided at no cost. For certification you must attend the full 6.5 hours. CEUs not available. Trainers are Shellee Sepko, LMFT & Jen Rhi Winders, MSW.
