Check out this new video showcasing 211 Connecting Point, a resource and information hub that connects people with community programs and services through a searchable web page and 24/7 local call center. 211 serves Nevada County, Placer County, and the Tahoe-Truckee region.
Each county with a 211 service has a designated entity that administers the program. These county-based entities coordinate with local human services agencies to connect callers to local community services. 211 also serves as Nevada County’s non-emergency call center. Dial 2-1-1 or 1-833-DIAL211 to talk to a local call center representative for non-emergency questions during an emergency event such as Coronavirus, a wildfire or a Public Safety Power Shutoff.
