The Friendship Club will celebrate the graduates in our after-school program and their respective high schools during the 24th annual Graduation and Scholarship Dinner on May 21, 6 p.m. at the Center for the Arts in Grass Valley.
Please join us to celebrate the accomplishments, commitment and hard work of these young women. This annual event is always filled with many emotions, memories and laughter.
Please visit our website for more information about the event and how you can support The Friendship Club and help girls and young women in our community succeed and thrive.
The Friendship Club encourages connection, the value of shared experiences, the joy in skill-building and the pleasure of fun – hard to find in a fast-paced world.
The soon-to-be graduates have faced many challenges and overcome numerous obstacles during the past several years. But thanks to The Friendship Club, our caring staff and a network of mentors, they are well-prepared for the path ahead, whether it’s attending college, learning a vocation or entering the full-time workforce.
The Friendship Club, a program of Bright Futures for Youth, has helped pave the way for a stronger foundation – and hopefully future – for these graduates and several hundred others.
The Friendship Club has helped empower and educate girls and young women since 1995, for 30 years, meeting the ever-changing and increasing needs of girls and young women in our community.
Please attend the 24th annual Graduation and Scholarship Dinner to celebrate our graduates and support them – experience firsthand how we are making the next generation the best generation.
