Donner Pass Road Reopens
Donner Pass Road is open a week earlier than planned. However, there will be striping Friday, August 25th through Sunday, August 27th in the evenings from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am with traffic controls. The road had been closed for more than two months because of unsafe conditions caused by a 40-ton rock mass that fell on the roadway.
Three Truckee Leaders Honored by Supervisors Tuesday
The Board of Supervisors honored three Truckee leaders at its meeting Tuesday in Truckee. The Board met away from its normal Nevada City chambers to focus on the eastern county and highlight collaborative efforts between the County, Town of Truckee, and other stakeholders.
