Here at NEO, this summer looked a little different from normal for us. We are used to our summers being filled with long, energetic days of summer camps and late nights of loud music wafting through the air at the markets and fair. While those activities couldn’t happen this year, we were so grateful to finally be able to offer some in-person activities after three long months of only virtual events! It was amazing to see youth socializing (from a distance) at our events again! We love creating a positive environment where people can laugh together, connect, and develop new friendships.
As you may have heard, we were also busy this summer merging with The Friendship Club to create a new organization, Bright Futures for Youth. By coming together we will be able to provide even more resources and services. But don’t worry, the NEO name and youth center programming will continue under the new larger umbrella organization.
