This August marks the return of the 5th annual Community Academy, a free, 12-week course offered annually by the Nevada County Sheriffโ€™s Office that serves as an opportunity for community members to learn about the role law enforcement plays in the community while giving participants a more in-depth understanding of their own Nevada County Sheriffโ€™s Office.
