Schools are important to unintentional injury prevention throughout the state and are important partners for local coalitions working on unintentional injury prevention. CA PTA has been a longstanding stakeholder in CCCSH and unintentional injury prevention work statewide and locally.
California State PTA is developing a training program to help districts, schools, and families learn more about the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) process and to strengthen home-school partnerships to support student success and school improvement. To ensure that the content of our program meets the needs of a school community, we want to hear from key stakeholders across California.
They have developed a brief survey to be shared widely and across stakeholder groups. Please share it with your contacts at school districts. Your outreach efforts will help achieve a large and diverse sample that best represents families and educators throughout the state.
The survey can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/H7LVX23. It should take no more than 10 minutes to complete and is available in ten languages. Please know that the survey is anonymous and no personal information will be collected. Responses will be collected through July 6, 2020.
