SAFE Youth Drop-in Center Grand Opening

SAFE Youth Drop-in Center Grand Opening

Couch surfing. Sleeping in cars. Or even living on the streets.

At least 100 children and young adults are experiencing homelessness in Nevada County, with many of those coming to Bright Futures for Youth’s SAFE program. Few rural communities in the state have full-service drop-in centers for youth.

Join us for the opening of the SAFE Youth Drop-in Navigation Center:

10 a.m. to noon Thursday, Sept. 29
200 Litton Drive in Grass Valley

The SAFE Drop-in Center is a safe and supervised environment where children and young adults experiencing homelessness can access a range of services, from clothing and food to health care and counseling.

Please RSVP to Cheryl Rubin, cherylr@bffyouth.org or 530-265-4311 ext. 206.
