Featured: The Instructional Leadership Corps
Congratulations to the NCSOS Nevada County Network Improvement Community team focusing on Universal Design for Learning — Andrea Marks, Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Accountability, and our instructional coaches, Carrie Ferrero, Steve Hansen, Meghan Salter, Kimberly Ewing, and Chris Thibodeau — for their work with the Instructional Leadership Corps (ILC) which highlights cross-role collaboration to develop local educators’ expertise on Universal Design for Learning (UDL). The Nevada County ILC team is leading a coordinated effort across seven districts and the county office to develop teacher leader cohorts using UDL inquiry cycles to address problems of practice related to student engagement – our county educators appreciate all of you! For more information, read Nevada County’s Sustainability Story on Stanford University’s ILC Principles Blog or contact Andrea Marks.
