Report from January 2, 2019 CSN Meeting ~ Taking Care of You: Trauma Stewardship for effective service and self-care

Many thanks to Laura Harter, Coordinator, PARTNERS Family Resource Centers and CSN-CAPC Board member, who presented at our January 2nd meeting, Taking Care of You: Trauma Stewardship for effective service and self-care. 

Laura Harter introduced us to Trauma Stewardship, the work of Laura van Dernoot Lipsky. We viewed a TED talk, followed by interactive activities. We also enjoyed a brief mindfulness meditation.

Thanks to Ned Russell for facilitating, to Jolene Hardin for assembling the gift bags, and to all who attended. For gift bags and contents, our thanks to 211 Connecting Point and Food Bank of Nevada County.
