Probation Department Sponsors Annual Special Olympics Northern CA Law Enforcement Torch Run
Nevada County Probation will raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Northern California (SONC) by participating in the 2023 Law Enforcement Torch Run on June 13th.
The Nevada County leg of the run will take place at 10:00 am. The run will start and stop in the Eric Rood Administrative Center parking lot. This is the second year the Nevada County Probation Department has sponsored and organized the run for Nevada County. Participants this year will include members from the Probation Department, Sheriff’s Department, District Attorney’s Office, Northern CHP, Truckee Police Department, Nevada City Police Department, and Grass Valley Police Department.
