This January the Nevada County Community Library is offering a wide range of online activities for readers and crafters of all ages. Youth programs include:
Ruff! Paws to Read: Early and independent readers practice their skills by reading to animals on Zoom.
Random Acts of Science, featuring science experiments for kids aged 4-12. Stop by the Grass Valley branch for materials to work alongside the librarians!
Teen Wellness, with weekly self-care activities on YouTube, plus kid and teen-focused Mindfulness Meditations on Facebook Live.
Break Out Book Club on Zoom, with pick-up book boxes geared for readers at 4 different levels.
Kid-friendly offerings also include Baby Story Time, Book Boogie Story Time, and much more. And there are plenty of activities and groups for adults as well!
