The CAPC Board of Directors, along with First 5 Nevada County, are pleased to announce a new job opportunity: Community Collaboration Coordinator. This exciting full-time position will support two programs – Community Support Network of Nevada County and a new initiative for home visiting coordination.
First 5 Nevada County promotes the importance of early childhood by investing in complex systems of care, empowering families, and strengthening the community. Community Support Network of Nevada County (CSN-NC), a program funded by First 5 Nevada, is an inclusive, voluntary association of agencies and individuals from the Nevada County community who share a common mission: that all families in Nevada County have ready access to a well-integrated and coordinated support network that is easily available and well funded. In September 2020, First 5 Nevada County received an award from First 5 California to support a sustainable, unified home visiting system that supports families with the services they need and maximize available funding to serve more families. Home visiting provides pregnant women and families, particularly those considered at-risk, necessary resources and skills to raise children who are physically, socially, and emotionally healthy and ready to learn.
The Community Collaboration Coordinator supports the CSN-NC and First 5 Nevada County home visiting coordination by assisting with development of an action plan/strategic plan, coordinating and facilitating community meetings, attending Board meetings and coordinating communication.
The application deadline is Friday, 10/16/2020 11:55 PM Pacific.
