New NEO Youth Center to Open

Bright Futures for Youth to open new NEO Youth Center near the Nevada County Fairgrounds in early 2022

Bright Futures for Youth will open a new NEO Youth Center at the former Silver Springs High School campus near the Nevada County Fairgrounds, offering after-school activities and events for children and young adults.

The new Youth Center, located at 12338 McCourtney Road, will open in early 2022 following a modest renovation. The Youth Center allows 11- to 25-year-old residents to get together, learn new skills and make new friends, said Jennifer Singer, Executive Director of Bright Futures for Youth.

Several hundred youth participate in NEO every year through after-school, in-school, summer and weekend programs.
