Upcoming Changes to Placer and Nevada County Medi-Cal Managed Plans
Beginning January 2024, Nevada and Placer County have elected to transition away from Anthem and California Health and Wellness to Partnership Health Plan of California as the managed care provider for Medi-Cal recipients in their counties. Partnership Health Plan is currently working to establish contracts with all current Medi-Cal providers so that there is no disruption to customer care. Customers are expected to receive notification of changes in October.
Medi-Cal Eligibility Renewals: What You Need to Know
- Contact information should be current. The local county office will mail Medi-Cal beneficiaries a letter about Medi-Cal coverage. Beneficiaries can visit BenefitsCal.com to learn more and to update contact information, including name, address, email address, and phone number.
- The allowable asset limit has changed. The new limits are $130,000 for one person, and an additional $65,000 for each additional family member.
