Library Offers Free Online Genealogy Class on Friday, February 18th
Registration is now open for “Genealogy 101: How to Start and Organize Your Family History,” a free online Zoom class offered by Nevada County’s Doris Foley Library for Historical Research on Friday, February 18th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Instructor Susan Rogers, a frequent presenter for the Nevada County Genealogical Society and teacher of genealogy classes for the Sierra College OLLI program, will cover the basics of family history research, including how to organize your information, the best free and paid websites, common mistakes to avoid, and much more. Participants must register to receive the Zoom link to the program.
