Nevada County Supervisors Adopt 21/22 Budget
On June 15th, the Nevada County Board of Supervisors unanimously adopted the 21/22 County Budget. Nevada County’s long-standing Board of Supervisors’ budget and financial management policies have created a solid foundation to help get us beyond the COVID-19 pandemic the past year. The County has been planning for a major emergency or recession for several years to continue operations without the need for drastic cuts in budgets or services, and that planning continues to serve the County well.
“I’m looking forward to working with our partners on Board Objectives that will have a major impact on our community,” said Board of Supervisors Chair Dan Miller. “Thank you to our budget team for putting this budget document together and showing so clearly how the budget dollars will be put to good use.”
