Chance the Dispatch Wellness Dog
It’s with incredible sadness that the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office shares the passing of Chance, our dispatch wellness dog, who was taken too soon by cancer.
The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office celebrated Chance’s life saying, “Chance filled a hole we didn’t know we had. He was always there when we were feeling stressed or overwhelmed. The fact of the matter is that he adopted us and watched over each dispatcher. Will we ever find a new Chance? Definitely not! Thanks for the love Chance – we miss you so much. Yes, maybe even your horrendous flatulence!”
