Nevada County Added to Presidential FEMA Individual Assistance Declaration
Nevada County has been added to the Presidential FEMA Individual Assistance Declaration for the February 2023 Winter Storms. This makes individual residents eligible for FEMA funding and programming.
Nevada County will host local assistance centers where residents can ask questions and learn about the different disaster recovery programs. Dates and times will be announced July 11th.
Truckee Library Services and Programs Temporarily Relocate to WorkSpace
The Truckee Library building will close from July 17th through mid-October for updates. Library services and programming will remain available at the Truckee Library WorkSpace, the Joseph Government Center, Truckee Regional Park, and other community locations. The building is getting new paint, flooring, furniture, and needed upgrades to the County-owned facility, which opened to the public in 1976.
