Maternity Mental Health – Mental health around pregnancy has lasting impacts on the whole family and Nevada County has multiple programs to support families through this time. There are home-visiting programs with public health nurses or peer support; Becoming Us, a four-part course to prepare partners for life with a new baby; Moving Beyond Depression, a short-term therapy program tailored for pregnant or post-partum clients; Baby Feeding Support Groups, and Parent Circle.
