Nevada County Building Fair June 14

Does the idea of developing property feel overwhelming? Do you feel the same about clearing vegetation for fire prevention? If so, mark your calendar for the Nevada County Community Development Agency’s (CDA) 4th annual Building Fair on from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14th at the Eric Rood Administrative Center in Nevada City. Nevada County CDA along with the Nevada County Association of Realtors (NCAOR) and the Nevada County Contractors’ Association (NCCA) host this annual event to help residents get a jumpstart on what you need to know before you develop or build on a peice of property and other resources that are available to you.

The Building Fair will bring nearly 50 vendors from the land development and wildfire preparedness fields before the building and wildfire season begins. Meet the experts and get your questions answered from wildfire resource experts, contractors, design professionals, material suppliers, greenhouse manufacturers, utility providers, jurisdictional agencies, and real estate professionals. They will explain the process and provide your excellent resources to assist with project.

In addition, there will be exciting demonstrations from wildfire resources and trade related contractors. Stop by to learn about wildfire safety, solar, and more or grab lunch on treats from local food vendors.
