This week we would like to highlight Paul Planter and his wonderful team for all the amazing and fun work they do for the special needs community of Nevada County. Take a read below at what they have in the making, their current happenings, and an awesome example of self determination.

Some members are wanting to create “learning activities” for our special community. (Any age, any special need)
There are two classes in the planning stages with instructors.
1. Cooking Classes
2. Music and Drama Classes
Please let us know if you are interested, and if you want to offer support.
- We are thinking the classes would be:
- $25 per session plus materials (caregivers/personal assistants participate for free)
- Sponsorships available (could be part of your Self-Determination Program (SDP) Spending Plan)
- 4-6pm once or twice a week for 6 weeks (after school until dinner)
- Location – 49er Fun Park
- Starting in late September
