Hello Community Partners,
As you may already know, April is Child Abuse Prevention Month (CAP Month). The Child Abuse Prevention Council of Western Nevada County, and the Community Support Network, are going to have several ways that you and your organizations can get involved.
The color that symbolizes CAP Month is BLUE – as a community, we will be bringing awareness to child abuse prevention by wearing blue for the kids and families we serve. Join us on APRIL 1st by wearing your finest blue clothes and tagging the Community Support Network of Nevada County and using the hashtag #wearblue4kids
We will be working with community partners to provide a parenting workshop, a craft for kids through the library, and even a fitness challenge through Grass Valley Training Zone. More information will follow as we get closer to April.
