Happy New Year! We hope you had a wonderful holiday season! We hope that you are safe, warm, and have power! We want to thank the countless men and women with various agencies and departments for their hard work and amazing efforts in ensuring safety in our community along with working around the clock conducting welfare checks, clearing trees and roadways from debris, plowing snow, and working to restore power. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! The storm that came to our towns may have left some unfortunate damage and many homes dark and cold. It has allowed our community to rise to the occasion to meet the needs of our community members and our community as a whole. It has also opened the door to collaborate once again to be the best and safest Nevada County that we can be. Our hearts go out to those who have endured damaged from the storm and are still without power and heat.
