Dear Community Member,
As part of April’s Child Abuse Prevention Month we have been giving out complementary goodies from Starbucks, Lazy Dog, and Emily’s Catering along with flyers advertising the showing of the movie, Resilience-The Biology of Stress and the Science of Hope.
We hope you were able to get one of the free treats. But, the main goal is to spread the word about the upcoming virtual showing of Resilience which will be available for 48 hours on April 28 and 29. And, we hope you will join us for a follow up discussion at the next CSN Partner Meeting on May 5th 3:30 to 5. We will be discussing the Building Resilient Community Toolkit, the power of collaboration, and how to create a shared vision for preventing child abuse and building a strong and healthy community.
As we explained in our Partner Meetings in March and April – CAPC has embarked on a Child Abuse Prevention Strategic Planning Process together with NC Child Welfare Department and the CA Office of Child Abuse Prevention. We hope you will join us in this ongoing effort.
See the link below to sign up to view Resilience and we will see you at the next Partner’s Meeting on May 5th, 2021.
