As you know, the Community Support Network, led by the Child Abuse Prevention Council of Western Nevada County, is undertaking a prevention planning effort using the Building Community Resilience (BCR) Framework. Please see the BCR page here to learn more. We know that resilient communities create an environment that allows children and families to thrive. As part of that effort, we’d like to highlight local stories of resilience that show individuals in our county overcoming the odds to create a positive impact on their community. A couple times a month, we will highlight these stories of resilience via this weekly e-newsletter.
