The Board of Directors of the Welz Family Children’s Foundation would like to announce the availability of this year’s initial grant. The theme for this year is “Working Back to New Normal”. The foundation, interested in enhancing the health, education and welfare of children of Nevada County, offers this general scope grant of $20,000 to non-profit organizations with existing programs for children in Nevada County (501(C)(3) or similar agencies). This year the foundation is entertaining capital and/or operational grants of up to $5000 for each direct service program.
One application per program is suggested, however agencies with multiple qualifying programs may submit applications for each separate program. In a collaboration, each agency will need to file separately.
