** 60 CUDDLE BEARS **
Far too often, our officers and detectives find themselves in situations where a child needs comfort because they have been victimized or they have been through a traumatic event. Recently, Mariah Walker started a fundraising drive to provide items that our officers can give to young children who are struggling. Our community stepped up and donated enough to provide GVPD with 60 Cuddle Bears and books to go with them.
