April is Child Abuse Prevention Month, with that The Child Abuse Prevention Council of Western Nevada County is hosting an ALL inclusive Community Appreciation BBQ on Saturday April 8, 2023 12pm-2pm. This BBQ is open to all members and residents of Nevada County.
Our hope for the Community Appreciation BBQ is that it be a place where people of Nevada County can gather together, have fun, and grow/build relationships with members of our beautiful community!
We will be having delicious FREE food, Burgers provided by a local Nevada county rancher, face painting by Donya with Lil’Lovan Ladies Face Painting, balloon twisting by Twisted Tim the Balloon Man, large size lawn games, a puppeteers show, a “Thank you” card making station so folks can write a special card to a person and/or the people you appreciate in our community, and more!
