Public Notice of Hearing for Community Development Block Grant

coronavirus illustrationThe County of Nevada Board of Supervisors will conduct a virtual web-based Public Hearing at 2:00 p.m., on July 31, 2020 via Zoom to consider potential programs for inclusion in the application to the State Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act [CDBG-CV]. The County anticipates submitting an application for funds to support COVID-19 related activities that benefit low- and moderate-income residents.

The purpose of this public hearing is to give citizens an opportunity to make their comments known regarding what types of eligible activities the County should be applying for under the State CDBG program.

Any member of the public may appear at the meeting and be heard on the item described in this notice or submit written comments to Nevada County Housing and Community Services prior to the meeting by personal delivery or by mail to: Rob Choate, Administrative Services Associate, 950 Maidu Avenue, Nevada City, CA 95959 or by phone at (530) 265-1645/ TTY: 1-800-867-4323.
