The California Training Institute (CalTrin) supports child abuse prevention in California through free professional development and extended learning. CalTrin training is designed for staff of family strengthening and child abuse prevention organizations in California, including Family Resource Centers, Child Abuse Prevention Councils, community-based organizations, and other child and family serving systems.
CalTrin has kicked off their new fiscal year with 94 trainings already planned for 2023-2024, and more to come! These knowledge-building and professional development opportunities will revisit some of the most popular topics previously offered and introduce new learning experiences informed by their 2022 Needs Assessment Survey. More than 18,000 participants from child- and family-serving organizations have already participated in CalTrin webinars and workshops. In addition to live trainings, CalTrin offers self-paced courses and recorded trainings that you can use at your convenience. Hear what colleagues across California have to say about the impact CalTrin trainings have made in their everyday work with children and families in California.
CalTrin trainings are typically added to their Calendar eight weeks before the scheduled training date. Want to be notified when registration opens for new trainings? Sign up for their mailing list and follow CalTrin on LinkedIn, Twitter, or Facebook!
