Submit your contributions to LourdesV@sncs.org by April 15th. We’ll share these tokens of appreciation with our providers and on social media. Bright Futures For Youth – Encouraging healthy choices & avoiding substance use.

Bright Futures for Youth and its three core programs — The Friendship Club, NEO and SAFE — connect with and help several hundred young people every month.

From after-school programs to life skills classes and social-service efforts like free food and access to health care and counseling, we are changing lives and making a difference.

Now, Bright Futures for Youth has expanded to go to school campuses with Friday Night Live/Club Live/Club Kids, a Nevada County-funded program that encourages young people to live clean, healthy lives — without substance use, such as alcohol and drugs.

From peer-to-peer conversations to adult role models, Friday Night Live/Club Live/Club Kids is committed to providing alternatives and encouraging young people to build strong relationships, have fun and focus on their future.

Bright Futures for Youth greatly appreciates being chosen for such a critical effort and applauds the investment in the next generation, and is connecting with 4th graders to high school seniors at eight schools – and taking the message to them, including how they can come to Bright Futures for Youth and the NEO Youth Center after-school.

Together, we can have a healthier and stronger community. We will be sharing more about the evolving program in the coming weeks.
