April is Child Abuse Prevention Month

In honor of Child Abuse Prevention month and to bring awareness to a wonderful and needed cause, The Community Support Network of Nevada County and The Child Abuse Prevention Council of Western Nevada County have partnered with local businesses for a once-a-week tasty treat each Monday for the first three weeks of April and a virtual showing of the documentary movie RESILIENCE the last week in April. Please see the list below of the weekly actions you can be a part of to bring awareness to Child Abuse Prevention here in Nevada County.

 

Week 2 Action

April 12th, 2021 ~ Chocolate for a Cause with Lazy Dog Chocolateria. ONE FREE RIBBON SHAPED CHOCOLATE TO THE FIRST 100 PEOPLE who show the Chocolate for a Cause flyer on their phone or printed out to staff at Lazy Dog located at 111 Mill St, in downtown Grass Valley. Click here for the flyer

April 19th, 2021 ~ Cookies for a Cause with Emily’s Catering. ONE FREE RIBBON SHAPED BLUE SPRINKLE COOKIE TO THE FIRST 100 PEOPLE who show the flyer on their phone or printed out.
