April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. Thanks to Tex Ritter, Nevada County Director of Social Services, for working with CSN-CAPC on getting the word out.
On April 9th, the Nevada County Board of Supervisors is expected to approve a resolution proclaiming April 2019 as Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Month in Nevada County. In addition, there will be a presentation by Marina Bernheimer, Executive Director of Child Advocates of Nevada County, and a CSN-CAPC Board member.
This is our annual opportunity to publicly and visibly support the well-being of children and families in Nevada County by attending the board meeting in our lime green CSN T-shirts.
