Child Support Services to Host Drop-in Hours at Sierra Community House
Sierra Nevada Regional Department of Child Support Services is partnering with Sierra Community House to provide in person child support services to the Truckee community. Sierra Community House will host drop-in services on the second Wednesday of each month. Child Support staff will be available from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm to discuss case specifics for existing customers or to answer general questions about child support and our services. Spanish interpreters will be available on site.
Nevada County is Developing a 2024 Community Health Improvement Plan
Nevada County has begun to develop its 2024 Community Health Assessment (CHA) and Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). Through this process, Nevada County will create a 3- to 5-year plan that will serve as a road map for increasing healthy living and health equity throughout Nevada County. Residents are invited to get involved by taking a short survey to help shape the vision and values of the plan.
