Hello Community Partners,
We’re overwhelmed with the outpouring of support during April’s Child Abuse Prevention Month activities. We spanned the entire month with fun and engaging activities designed to bring awareness to child abuse and prevention services in Nevada County. Some of the highlights included a kickoff event with Grass Valley Police Department, the Be the One Campaign, fitness challenge in partnership with Grass Valley Training Zone, presentations on the radio and for the Nevada County Board of Supervisors (who passed a resolution declaring April as Child Abuse Prevention Month), and closing out the month with a free parenting workshop.
