We’re getting very excited about our December 1st Community Support Network Meeting. There is still time to register and add it to your calendar. We’ll be discussing collaboration, COVID recovery, and our amazing resilient community.
As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, we want to say Happy Thanksgiving to you, your teams, and families. We want to highlight another community organization that we’re incredibly grateful for. The KARE Crisis Nursery is a non-profit organization focused on helping make the world around us a safer, happier place for the children and families in our community and surrounding areas by providing safe, nurturing care for the small children of families experiencing a stressful situation.
It is the vision of the KARE Crisis Nursery that all children in our community will be able to grow and thrive free from the threat or possibility of child abuse and/or neglect. Our mission therefore, is to provide shelter and respite for the children and assistance to their families who are facing a crisis, and to safely and effectively supervise Court Ordered visitations for families seeking reunification.
The KARE Crisis Nursery is generously inviting the CSN Partners who are family serving agencies in the community to invite the families you serve to come shop for gifts prior to the Santa’s Christmas Shoppe opening up to the public. Their annual Santa Shoppe event is where kids get to shop for their families with an Elf (everything is $.25!), have the gifts wrapped, tagged, and bagged to take home while the parents enjoy coffee & cookies in another room.
