With the holidays quickly approaching, we want to continue to highlight family serving organizations. These organizations work diligently to provide crisis intervention, family support and wellbeing, parenting education, and concrete supports throughout the year.
This week we’re highlighting Child Advocates. Child Advocates facilitates the evidence based Healthy Babies home visiting program; providing parenting support, modeling healthy family relationships, and promoting strong child development. They also facilitate Nevada County’s Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) program; supporting children and families as they navigate the court system.
For the rest of November, Child Advocates will be holding a fundraiser through See’s Candy to support their ongoing sustainability. See the flyer below for more information.
