Dear Community Partners,
Thank you to those who were able to join us for our July 7 Community Support Network meeting. The focus of the meeting was partnership and collaboration; we had several organizations share about their exciting work and used our time to identify potential ways to collaborate in the future. We also reviewed this powerpoint that was shared with the Board of Supervisors in April for Child Abuse Prevention Month – the powerpoint gives a great overview of CSN’s history and the role of the Child Abuse Prevention Council in Western Nevada County. And finally, we reviewed the partnership agreements – if you or someone from your agency are interested in becoming a formal CSN partner, please click here to read the agreements and reach out to our coordinator, Alyssa Burke (csnnc@gmail.com) for more information. We’re excited to move forward with our prevention planning and community resilience efforts!
We will not be having a CSN meeting in August. However, we want to encourage you to keep sending us updates about your organizations that can be shared via our weekly e-newsletter.
