Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) impact the heart, mind, soul, body, and spirit of a child and though the child may not remember, the body remembers. We as adults in Nevada County can rise up stronger together to leave lasting health in the lives of those who are hurting, especially children. We can be the one who helps heal the wounds children endure by creating sustainable change, modeling healthy relationships, and reducing toxic stress in the families we serve with a strength-based approach, making our community more resilient, loving, and safe! Come learn how to promote resilience in your family and community along with learning how we can work together to build a more healthy community.
We will come together as a community to discuss the RESILIENCE documentary and how to build community resilience at the May 5th, 2021 Community Support Network (CSN) Meeting from 3:30 to 5pm.
