We used a “Jam Board” in breakout rooms to explore what it takes to plan, implement, and sustain actions to build a stronger and healthier community.

As part of April’s Child Abuse Prevention Month, you’ll see below that we are hosting a virtual showing of the movie Resilience April 28 to 30. We will follow up with a discussion and call to action at the CSN Partner Meeting via zoom on May 5 at 3:30 to 5.
As we explained in our Partner Meeting in March – CAPC has embarked on a Child Abuse Prevention Strategic Planning Process together with NC Child Welfare Department and the CA Office of Child Abuse Prevention. Over the past year we have been working with Lola Cornish from Strategies to get the ball rolling by using the Community Resilience Tool Kit.
Plenty more conversations and invitations for you to join in the process will be coming.
