The Undocumented Student Center at Sierra College is collaborating with CRLA Foundation to host a three-part training series designed to help educators and community organizations to gain the tools to be able to share helpful and accurate legal information to students regarding their rights and to be able to provide appropriate legal referrals.
Know Your Rights Training: February 26, 1:00-2:00 pm // REGISTER HERE
Everyone has constitutional rights, regardless who is president. This training includes updates on DACA and TPS, Laws and Policies that impact immigrant families, Select CA legislation, and KYR when encountering law enforcement.
Public Charge Training: March 12, 1:00-2:00 pm // REGISTER HERE
The purpose of this training is to provide community advocates and organizations with the tools to be able to share helpful and accurate information about public charge policies.
