The Nevada County Superintendent of Schools office (NCSOS) is applying for funding from the California Department of Education (CDE) to help remove barriers to equal access to education for children and youth experiencing homelessness/housing transition.
As a first step in this competitive grant application process, we must conduct a county-wide needs assessment which includes a brief survey of community agencies who assist those that are homeless or in housing transition. This survey is specific to children and youth.
Please help by completing this survey and by sharing the request with appropriate community service providers and staff. The survey will only take a few moments to complete. The survey findings will greatly inform our office of training and technical assistance needs related to Homeless Education. The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, 12/18.
