Resource: Stress Management and COVID-19

Excerpt from coping with pandemic stress documentThe coronavirus outbreak has changed our lives. We may feel anxious, sad, bored, worried, depressed, and lonely right now. We may need extra help or support. What works for each of us will depend on our specific situation.

“Coping with Stress During the COVID-19 Pandemic” is a new stress-management resource co-created by the California Department of Public Health, Injury and Prevention Branch (CDPH/IVPB) and the California Department of Social Service, Office of Child Abuse Prevention’s (CDSS/OCAP)Essentials for Childhood (EfC) InitiativeACEs Connection, and the Yolo County Children’s Alliance.

This material is intended for California families experiencing the severe economic consequences resulting from novel coronavirus, COVID-19, and shares resources and offers supportive information on ways Californians can take care of themselves and their families during the pandemic.
