Free Training: Taking Victim Services to the Next Level

This two-day training on cultural responsiveness and victim services will take place on Thursday, July 23 AND Friday, July 24. Participants will learn how to strengthen their organization’s capacity and effectively serve victims of crime from California’s underserved community, specifically LatinX and Asian and Pacific Islanders.

Executive directors and managers at organizations and governmental/social service agencies providing victim service are highly encouraged to attend. 

Topics to be explored include:

  • adopting an intersectional framework
  • enhancing leadership and budget strategies
  • increasing language access

Thursday, July 23rd, 10:00-11:30 AM and 1:00-2:30 PM

Friday, July 24th 9:00 AM-12:00 PM

*Participants must attend both days of this virtual training to receive Cal-OES certification
