Nevada County Adult and Family Services Commission Vacancies

The Adult and Family Services Commission (AFSC) is recruiting new commissioners that will help us represent the community to the Board of Supervisors on issues regarding health and human services and family interests of all residents of Nevada County.  This commission is tasked with providing policy advice to the Board of Supervisors; participating in long range planning processes; identifying and coordinating community resources, including the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) and Community Initiative Fund (CIF) that can be used to provide solutions to health and human services needs; and oversees the extent and the quality of participation of low-income constituents in the CSBG and CIF funded programs.
