Mental Health Needs & Priorities in Nevada County

Thanks to Priya Kannall, Nevada County Behavioral Health for this information.

Nevada County Behavioral Health is kicking off the community planning process for the next three-year Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) Plan! The Mental Health Services Act (MHSA) is funded by a 1% tax for those earning over $1 million per year, and is designed to expand and transform California’s county mental health systems.

We want to hear from the community about the mental health needs and priorities in Nevada CountyYour input is essential to helping the Behavioral Health Department decide where our resources should be focused over the next three years.

Please take a few minutes to complete our survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NC_MHSA. Feel free to distribute to your clients or any distribution lists you think would be helpful in getting the word out! I’ve also attached a paper version of the survey if you have clients or customers who would prefer to fill out a paper version (see instructions on cover page for where to send completed paper surveys).

All responses to the survey will be confidential, and the survey should only take about 10-15 minutes to complete. The survey will close on Monday, August 26th, so please complete this survey ASAP!

Thank you so much in advance for your contribution to this important process! If you have any questions, please contact Priya Kannall at MHSA@co.nevada.ca.us or (530) 265-1790.
